If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know I’m a perpetual (unhelpable) shopaholic. Ironically, many of my clothes hang sadly in my closet unworn and neglected. I always find myself sticking to a few favorite items of the moment, while most of my wardrobe mournfully looks on while collecting dust bunnies. So in an effort to give more equal treatment to all my clothes, I’ve decided to do a 5 item styling challenge where I pull out random 5 items I never wear in my closet and wear them in various outfits throughout the week!
Th5 5 lucky items this week are:
- Over the knee sued back boots.
- Seven of All Mankind grey leopard print denim
- Cream Sweater vest
- Grey shift dress
- Forever 21 sheer coral top
You’ll notice my doggy Chloe has decided to plop herself down and join in on this shot.
Day 1 Style challenge: Over the knee black suede boots
Not too much of a challenge here – black boots are easy to style! They can go with almost anything, which mad me wonder why I hadn’t worn them more in the first place. It so easy to disappear when you wear black, so I rolled down the boots to knee height and and paired them with some red skinny jeans. I didn’t want to look too color block-y so I added this loose knit grey and white striped sweater to soften this look. Then layered it off with black anorak styled jacket. To finish off the look, I added my (favorite) Rocco bag and a faux ivory long necklace .
