We’ve been lucky to have a week ‘warmer’ weather in the Toronto. And I say that in quotes because my idea of warmer here is just above freezing temps, but hey, that’s winter in Canada. So I though I would take the opportunity to actually wear a skirt, which I’ve pretty much sworn off for the last month or so. So embracing the mild weather, this was the weekend outfit I wore the last week for a casual day of brunch, shopping and running errands.
Skirt: Ribbed pencil skirt c/o Shein
Top: Cotton turtle neck from Club Monaco (similar here)
Jacket: Classic moto jacket from Mackage
Necklace: Long tassel necklace c/o Olive + Piper
Bag: Eartha mini bag from ZAC Zac Posen
As you might recall, I’ve been having a bit of an obsession with midi skirts right now, and this pencil midi skirt is the latest I’ve added to my wardrobe. Not only is it like wearing a sweater for my legs, it’s such an easy as versatile piece, looking chic dressed up or down. This ribbed pencil skirt is another one of my deal finds from Shein, coming in at just $10. Honestly you can’t go wrong for that price.
The rest of my outfit is made up of a few of my wardrobe staples: black turtle neck from Club Monaco, a classic Moto leather jacket from Mackage, and a new addition to my boot collection from Kylie + Kendall. These are my new fave booties right now. They have the perfect pointy toe with a 2 inch stacked heel, so they’re great for everyday walking, but still look polished enough to go out in.
My accessories include a long tassel necklace from Olive + Piper and ZAC Zac Posen Eartha Mini Bag. Both are such fun and unique pieces that add a little character to my otherwise quite minimalist outfit.
