My Vancouver Bucket List: A Tourist In My Own City

My Tourist List of Must-See and Must-Do’s:

Vancouver is the city where I’ve live my whole life. Born and raised, Vancouver will always be my home. But in less than 6 weeks, I’ll be moving to Toronto – new city and new discoveries to make. But before I leave my home town, I’m going to be a tourist in my own city one last time!  I came up with bucket list with all the things I want to do in Vancouver one last time before leave! (All the italicized ones are the one I’ve done!)

My Vancouver Bucket List:

  1. Visit the Vancouver Public Library Downtown
  2. Visit the Christ Church cathedral
  3. Bike the sea wall
  4. Contemporary Art gallery on Nelson
  5. Hang out at UBC, visit Museum of Anthropology, Nitobe Memorial Garden
  6. Visit my old elementary school
  7. Visit my old high school
  8. Walk around the Athlete’s Village/False creek
  9. Visit Lonsdale Key and take the sea bus
  10. Personal spa day at Spa Utopia
  11. Visit wreck beach
  12. Van Dusen gardens
  13. Queen Elizabeth park
  14. Visit Marine building on Burrard
  15. Watch a horse race at Hastings Race Course
  16. Go to the Vancouver Flea Market
  17. Afternoon Tea at the Fairmont
  18. Ice Skating and winter activities on Grouse Mountain
  19. Check out the Punjabi Market in SOMA
  20. Try the Chocolate Buffet at The Sutton Place Hotel
  21. Watch a movie at the IMAX
  22. Visit Cultus Lake
  23. Go to the Richmond Night Market
  24. Breakfast at Cafe Medina
  25. Bike ride on the seawall
  26. Take the aqua bus
  27. Climb the Grouse Grind
  28. Stand up paddleboard
  29. A day in Deep Cove
  30. Watch a Dophin Show at the Vancouver Aquarium
