1. Using Bio-Oil as a moisturizer
Bio-Oil is a fantastic an anti-aging facial oil and moisturizer. You can use it in place of your moisturizer. Plus it doubles as an anti-aging serum with it’s nutrient packed plant-based formula.
Bio-Oil is a great formula for dry and sensitive skin types. It helps to relieves dryness and works to instantly hydrate and smooth skin thanks to Purcellin, one of its key ingredients.
Unlike heavy creams, it has lightweight texture absorbs quickly into the skin and is non-comedogenic, aka doesn’t block pores.
After using Bio-Oil for skincare, you’ll see and feel softer skin with regular use along with giving your skin, and added glow as a bonus!
2. Bio-Oil for Acne Scars
Bio-Oil is a designed to reduce the appearance of scars. This also includes the the scars that are left behind from acne and breakouts!

Apply a few drops to a cotton pad and with a gentle swipe, it will take off any makeup easily. Just be careful careful not to get Bio-Oil in the eye!

This year I started doing Gua Sha as a regular part of my skincare routine. But I struggled to find facial oils that worked well for my sensitive skin.
I found that Bio-Oil mades an excellent facial massage oil! It’s lightweight and allows my Gua Sha tool to glide easily across my face and neck. Plus, the motion of the tool allows nutrients of the product to be absorbed even better!

Using Bio-Oil for face is easy. Just apply a few small drops of Bio-Oil to the palms of your hands and pat on to clean dry skin once or twice daily.
Try not to rub it in as you would with a moisturizer, but to gently pat it on your face. This will allow it absorb better and let the ingredients penetrate deeper into your skin.
If you’re using other serums or moisturizers, you can use Bio-Oil as the last step of your skincare routine to seal in all the goodness of your skincare!
