My personal experience with the Ooma Butterfleye

I love my Ooma Butterfleye smart camera and the peace of mind it provides for me. While I’m out, I feel secure being able to see my home and doggy at any time from the app on the phone. I even used it during my recent trip to Montreal to keep my home safe and secure and it notified me when there some noises in my home, which just turned out to be just someone knocking on my door.

The set up process was a breeze and it took just a couple minutes to download the app and then connect the camera. I also have to say the video quality is awesome. I found the picture and video to be clear, defined, and it had a wide angle of view so that I could see the entire room from where it was placed. I’m also very impressed with the length of the battery life. So far it’s been nearly a month and I still haven’t needed to charge my Ooma Butterfleye at all.

And if you were curious about my doggy’s behaviour, as it turns out she is generally pretty good while I’m out. Aside from being a crumb vacuum for the kitchen (perk of having a dog I suppose), she mostly just snoozes the day away with the occasional break to play with her toys. She does have her curious moments where she does a little exploring and snooping, but I have yet to see her get into any real trouble for now. (And one of my life questions has finally been answered!)
