Why have I been MIA for the past little while you might ask? Well, that’s because I’m doing a cross Canada road trip to my new home in Toronto!
Not only have I been busy packing and preparing the past few weeks for my big move, but now I’m trekking across the great white north with my Chloe bear (my pet dog) and my boyfriend by my side for a Canadian road trip. So far, I’m about 3 days into my road trip. My first stop was Lake Louise, in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta. I was lucky enough to stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. It’s a gorgeous rustic hotel right on Lake Louise. It was ever so nice to have some R&R time after all the stress of moving.
For the next stop on my Canadian road trip, I’m spending another 2 days in Banff. It’s such a lovely town! Today I went for a gondola ride and up to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. The view is just incredible from the top! It’s 360 degrees of mountains all around.
Above are a few pictures of the first couple days of my trip! I’s almost May, but as you can see – it’s very much still winter up here in the mountains! Stay tuned for more pictures of my trip as I travel across the country on my Canadian road trip!

You really should one day! This country is so vast and has so much to offer. The scenery from the coast to the mountains, and the prairies and lakes is so beautiful! I heard you can get one of those jump on, jump off passes for Via Rail. That would be a perfect way to do it!

It certainly has been quite an experience! I think all Canadians should do a cross Canada road trip at least once in a lifetime! 🙂
