Every time Charlotte Tilbury comes out with a new product, I say to myself, I can’t possibly need it and it can’t possibly that great. And every time I’m wrong…
The Charlotte Tilbury Glow Glide Face Architect Hilighter is the latest to their all star line up. The name is a mouthful, but it does it all. This powder highlighter glides onto the skin like a liquid for a soft iridescent finish, that not only smooths skin, but sculpts your features.
I know it might be hard to picture from just reading about it, so I’ve made a video demo that you can check out too! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. I do a demo of the highlighter and show which areas you should apply it to!
Charlotte Tilbury Glow Glide Face Architech Hilighter Review
In the kit, I got two shades of the Charlotte Tilbury Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter, one in the shade “Pillow Talk” which is a beautiful pearly pink and the other in “Moonlight Glow,” a stunning champagne shimmer color. The set also came with two brushes for easy application.
The Charlotte Tilbury Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter is really something magical. Despite being in powder form, it glides onto the skin like a liquid and leaves behind an flawless finish. It’s truly a game-changer!
This Charlotte Tilbury highlighter is formulated with multi-faceted pigments that create a “blurred” effect on the skin, which helps to perfect the look of the skin.
I’m usually cautious when it comes to using highlighters as they can sometimes emphasize texture on the skin, but this highlighter actually hides it. It also helps to sculpt and define my features, which I love!

Another great benefit of this Charlotte Tilbury highlighter is that it contains squalane and smoothing emollients. These ingredients help to hydrate the skin, allowing the highlighter to glide on smoothly for an even and natural-looking glow. And even at the end of the day it doesn’t get patchy, dry or cakey, which is a huge plus.

The kit also came with a helpful guide for application. The guide recommends applying the highlighter to six areas of the face: the brow bone, cheeks, inner corners of the eyes, nose, cupid’s bow, and jawline.
When I followed this guide, it really helped to accentuate and define my features and made such a noticeable difference! It literally uses light to sculpt your features and it’s amazing!
I know we’ve been going through a huge phase of cream and liquid highlighters, so I’m so glad that this new CT powder highlighter is on the market. Plus this one really has all the benefits of cream, but in a powder form!

Overall, am absolutely in love with the Charlotte Tilbury Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter! The shimmer finish is so beautiful and leaves the skin looking just flawless.
The coverages from it is totally buildable and you can easily go from a natural glow and built it up glam look for the evening. It comes in 7 beautiful shades and that are all quite universally flattering.
I found that the CT Face Architect highlighter wore beautifully throughout the day. My skin still looked healthy and glowly at the end of the day, without any dryness or patchiness. Which really impressed me during this cold winter weather.
One small complaint, was I found the pan would spin in the case, which was a bit annoying. But I ended up fixing with a bit of double sided tape. But for a $58 compact I really shouldn’t have had to!
Regardless, this Charlotte Tilbury highlighter is still hands down my new favourite. I just love how it perfects my skin, defines my features, and looks great all day!
