Ready for Winter in my Cougar Pillow Boots

When it comes to winter footwear in Canada, it’s pretty serious stuff! For years, Cougar is one the brands that I’ve turned to winter boots.

The very first pair of winter boots I got when I moved to Toronto were Cougar Pillow Boots. I wore them day in and day out for 3 winters straight!

This fall, I had a chance to team with Cougar to style a pair of their boots, and I couldn’t resist but to choose the Cougar Pillow Boot again.

Now since I’ve experience these winter boots twice over, I felt I should a full Cougar Pillow Boot Review was due!

Cougar Pillow Boot Review

The iconic Cougar Pillow Boot originally came out in 1976. And this classic Canadian winter boot is known for being waterproof and comfy in the coldest conditions (up to -30 degrees Celsius).

The Cougar Pillow Boot a mid height boot with a leather exterior and pillow puff shaft that makes it comfy and flexible for walking. This is so important for me because since walking is my main form of commuting in the city.

I also love the thick non-slip sole which keeps out the cold, and makes it great for walking in all conditions, whether that ice or slush. Overall it’s a fairly lightweight for a winter boot, which is important when I’m trekking across the city for my commute.

The best thing Cougar Pillow Boots are both functional and stylish. They’re great for everyday and commuting, super durable and hold up to any weather conditions.

They have a classic hiking boot style which makes them a great boot to pair with your casual fall and winter outfits. With thoughtful details like the lace up eyelets, quilted stitching, and peek-a-boot red interior to add that chic factor.

I truly love them and think the Cougar Pillow Boots are one of the best winter boots all round. And having them twice proves it!

The first time I got them in the classic tan, and this time I went for a deeper brown butternut shade. This season they have a white version too which I’m loving, along with a classic black which are great options as well!
