Spring is finally here and summer just around the corner! To welcome the warmer weather, I got a few cute tops to wear with white jeans to refresh my wardrobe.
I feel like I’ve been wearing black all winter. And even though it’s ever so flattering and slimming, the lighter colours bring an uplifting effect on mood. Which I might say is quite needed considering Toronto has gone back into lockdown for a third, yes I said third time!
1. Lilac Cropped Cardigan
This cute top is the perfect spring cardigan in my books! I’m usually more of a pink kinda girl, but lately lilac has really stolen my heart.
Fresh, youthful, and sophisticated at the same time, lilac has been a hot colour this season. And I’ve been finding myself adding more and more lilac to my wardrobe.
But the colour isn’t the only thing I love about this top. The cropped hem and lantern sleeves gives it a feminine and modern look to it.
The high rise ripped white jeans I got on sale from Abercrombie. Recently I’ve fallen in love with their denim! They’re comfortable, affordable and really well cut!
And I’m loving the lilac and white pairing for the warmer months. They’re such a pretty combo together!
This chevron chain bag is a new addition too, and for $15 it’s a steal and a must have!
2. Ribbed Turtleneck Top
Turtlenecks are another trend is big right now! I find them so chic and flattering and a great wardrobe staple that’s perfect for layering or wearing alone on warmer days.
I was worried this cute top might be a little warm for turtlenecks now that winter is over. But this one is made from a lightweight knit ribbed material, which makes it completely comfortable for the warmer weather!
I’m also loving how the neutral tan colour goes really well with white jeans. And have been gravitating towards creams and neutrals a lot lately.
And to finish off the look, I’ve paired it with a brown saddle bag with gold tassel.
Have you added a shoulder pad tee to your wardrobe yet? Well this is my first one and I’m in love with it!
Shoulder pads are a great way to make a statement with a regular tee. Slightly 80’s inspired, shoulder pad tees creating a stronger silhouette that adds a sense of polish to any outfit.
This one is pretty subtle, and a great way to modernize the classic tee. Plus I love the button detailing that dresses up the look
Because this was an all white look, I decided to add a little pattern through accessories with a fun leopard belt and LV nano speedy.
