Bedroom Reveal: DIY Wallpaper Accent Wall

I can’t believe we’ve been in this home for a year now! We’ve been continually working to make this place our own. And it’s really taken about a year to get to this point.

Our bedroom was pretty much done, but I did feel like it needed a something to give it a more personal touch.

When Love vs. Design reached out to me to work together, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to give our bedroom that little something it needed.

Love vs. Design makes stick and peel wallpaper which is extremely durable and long-lasting. They have a large collection of designs to choose from. And the ability to personalize the colour of the elements on the wallpaper for a truly customized colour palette.

DIY Wall Paper Project

Peel and stick wallpaper is great DIY project to update any space. It can really change the look of your space with minimal effort. Plus it’s easy and relatively inexpensive, without any permanent commitment

There were so many wall paper designs to choose from on Love vs. Design’s website. I entertained various patterns from floral and botanical to stripes and geometric designs.

I’d highly recommend that you order samples too, and I found it very helpful seeing the patterns in real life before making a decision.

This chic diamonds design was what we decided on and I’m loving how it turned out in our bedroom.

This pattern feels classic, yet modern at the same time. I like how it kept the light and airy look of our bedroom making the space more interesting.

Applying the peel and stick wall paper was simple as well. It took one or two pieces to get the hang of applying it. Then it was pretty straight forward after that.

All together this DIY wallpaper project took about 2 hours for the one accent wall. Starting with 30 minutes to clean and about an and hour and a bit to put up the wall paper.

I am loving how the accent wall turned out! It’s subtle, and really adds more dimension to the room!
