My favourite uses include adding some Lavender Oil to my baths to relax and using Eucalyptus Oil to help relieve sinus congestion. Tea Tree Oil is well-known for its powerful antiseptic properties and ability to treat wounds. Tea tree oil is naturally anti-bacterial and has anti-inflammatory actions making it an essential oil that should truly be part of everyone’s natural medicine cabinet.
Add one drop of Tea Tree Oil into a glass of warm water and gargle, but don’t swallow! Do this to help get ride of inflammation and fight off infection.
Place a few drops in a bowl with boiling water with a dowel. Place over your face and breath in. The antibacterial and antiviral properties in Tea Tree Oil help to relieve nasal infections.
Ache and Pains
Add 10 drops of Tea Tree OIl to your bath and mix in some epson salts to help with aches and pains associated with colds and flus.
Apply Tea Tree Oil directly to cold sore 3-4 times a day to help remove the cold sores caused by cold and flu.
Dry Air Passages
Add 10 drops of Tea Tree Oil to a bowl of hot water and leave in the bedroom overnight. This will help alleviate and disinfect dry air passages
Lavender Oil is one of the most versatile of all essential oils. Most commonly known for its relaxing effects on the body, it may also be used to cleanse cuts, bruises and skin irritations. It also has a fragrance that is calming, relaxing, and balancing, both physically and emotionally.
Add to the bath
Add a couple drops of Lavender Oil to the bath. The vapour will clear your head and leave your skin silky soft. Use at night to improve sleep quality.
Heavenly Night Cream
Add a few drops of Lavender Oil to your favourite unscented moisturizer and stir well. Use before bed for a fantastic’s night sleep
Rub Lavender Oil on dry chapped lips to have them feeling hydrated again
Place a drop of Lavender Oil behind ears or around the navel to help alleviate symptoms of nausea
Stress and Anxiety
Massage Lavender Oil into your temples to help relieve symptoms of stress and anxiety, to help keep a calm mind
Drop a few drops of Lavender Oil scent of lavender essential oil and diffuse it as an air freshener.
Eucalyptus oil uses and benefits include healing respiratory issues like asthma, improving skin health and eliminating mold.
Cold and Flu
Add 5ml of Eucalyptus Oil to 500mL of hot water and inhale. Sprinkle a few drops onto a hnadkerchief, in the bath or on a pillow
Clear Respiratory Issues
Add a few drops to coconut oil make a DIY vapour rub. Do this to help eliminate the symptoms of a cough, asthma or even bronchitis
Add 5 drops into a face towel and inhale throughout the day to relieve a stuffy nose.
Boost Immune Health
Use in a diffuser as an inhalant to stimulate them immune system and prevent the dreaded cold and flu.
Add 10-30 to distilled water to make a disinfectant spray. Use to disinfect and protect from all germs.
