On Instagram, you might have caught me at the Nudestix event a couple weeks ago. It was my first event of this year since things had only recently opened up here in Toronto.
Nudestix is a Canadian beauty that that makes clean, vegan, and cruelty-free makeup and skincare with a less is more approach. Many of their products are multi-tasking. So that you can use them on your eyes, cheeks and lips, as well as compact and easy to carry on the go.
I admit I didn’t know too much about the brand before, but learning about the story behind their company and trying out their products, it’s safe to say I’m pretty obsessed.
So today I wanted to share a Nudestix review of a few of my favourite products that I’ve been using and loving.
Nudestix Nudies
The Nudestix Nudies are one of their hero products. They’re these versatile cream colour sticks in a range of bronzers, blushes and highlighters.
I have to say I’ve fallen in love with these cream formula sticks. In the past, I’ve struggled with cream blushes and products. But the Nudies are incredibly easy to use and blend so seamlessly.
I have the Nudies Bronze in Bondie Bae, Nudies Blush in Picante, and Nudies Glow in Hey Honey. And with these 3 products I can basically do my whole face minus my brows.
I’ll use the Nudies Bronze to contour, and also as an eye shadow. Then the Nudies Blush as my blush and as lip colour. And the Nudies glow for highlight and eyes eye shadow as well.
The Nudies are conveniently dual ended with a colour block on one end and a soft blending brush on the other. And it has the amazing feature of being able to detach the brush so you can wash it as well!
I thoroughly enjoy using them, as well as love the finished look they create. The formulas feel weightless on the skin and create a naturally fresh faced makeup look that’s light and glowy. I’ve been getting so many compliments on my this look lately!
Nudestix Nudescreen Daily Mineral Veil SPF30
I’m super picky about sunscreens, and I hardly find one I actually enjoy wearing. But the Nudestix Nudescreen Daily Mineral Veil SPF30 is pretty great.
It has a light texture that’s moisturizing, but not heavy. It leaves no white cast, doesn’t make my makeup pill after (a BIG ONE for me), and doesn’t get oily throughout the day.
I also love that it comes in tints, so if you have a darker skin tone or just want to add a glow you can.
I’ve been using the cool (sheer) and warm (light tint) mixed together to create a natural contoured look. The formula also leaves my skin with a soft glow which I love.
Lemon-Aid Detox & Glow Micro-Peel
I love getting regular facials, but I believe regular at home maintenance is so important for keeping your skin healthy and glowy on a daily basis.
The Lemon-Aid Detox & Glow Micro-Peel is a gentle chemical peel that detoxes pores of excess oil, dirt and pollution while smoothing skin tone and texture.
I will definitely be using this on a weekly basis. I find it super gentle and non irritating, and does an amazing job detoxing and cleansing the skin.
It goes on like a gel, and starts to feel a little gritty as it removes the dead skin and grime from the surface. My skin feels noticeably smoother and baby soft after.
These are just a few of the products from their Nudestix collection I’ve been trying out and loving! But they also have a number of other skincare and makeup products like the Magnetic Eye Color Stix which I’ve swatched above!
And with the Sephora Sale is coming up next week, so it’s a good time to give some of these Nudestix products a try! Let me know what you’ll be shopping for in the comments below!
