The 5 Shoes I’ve Been Wearing Most

Chic and comfortable everyday shoes for women for fall and winter.

One of my goals for the year has been to pare down my wardrobe to make it easier manage and style. And part of that was being more thoughtful about buying shoes I would wear frequently instead of just sitting in my closet gathering dust and taking up room.

For my day-to-day activities these are the 5 pairs of everyday shoes and boots I’ve been wearing most. They’re practical, comfortable, yet still stylish and perfect for those every day life – from running errands and walking the dog, or just being out and about with friends.

1. The IT boot –
Chunky Heeled Combat Boot

This is my ‘it’ boot of the season and currently on high rotation. You might have caught me wearing on Instagram here, here, and here.

Combat boots have been hot for the few seasons, but a cream boot in this shape gives it a fresher look. Plus, I love how brightens up all my fall and winter outfits.

Since it’s such a trendy boot style, I didn’t want to spent a ton on it. I bought these cream combat boots from SHEIN for just $70 CAD. The material is synthetic, but quite sturdy yet soft and comfortable. They’ve held up very well as an everyday boot so far with no real signs of wear.

2. Everyday Ankle Boot

I’ve been a huge Cougar shoes fans and this is my 5th pair to date! The latest addition is this city style hiking boot that is perfect for everyday wear, but ready to take on the snow and slush as well!

The brown leather colour goes with all the brown tones that have been so popular this fall! I also love the faux shearling collar detail which gives these boot cozy feel.

Having a good winter boot is a must-have on my list for an everyday shoe for women. These Vow boots from Cougar are stylish and practical as well. Being completely waterproof and temperature rated to -24°C. Cougar shoes has been my go to winter boots for the past few years, and I’m sure this pair will getting me through this winter as well!

3. The Chunky Sneaker

Chunky sneakers have been around for awhile and I couldn’t resist getting fresh white pair. They’re great a casual shoe that’s a little more fun than your basic sneaker.

I got this pair to go with my athleisure and casual outfits. They’re super cushiony which is great, and I love the little bump in height they give me too.

These everyday shoes were another trendy affordable find from SHEIN, and it’s been great stylish and basic everyday shoe for just running errands and taking the dog for a walk.

4. Vintage Chanel Flats

Since Covid, my style has become a lot pretty casual. But when I do have to dress up a bit, these vintage Chanel cap toe ballet flats have been a favourite for me.

Earlier this year, I purchased my first Chanel bag. And in October I picked up these cap toe ballet flats, which were another one of the things on my designer wish list.

These cap toe flats in nude and black are a timeless investment shoe that elevates any outfit. I know I’ll love them for years to come!

5. Classic Chelsea Boot

These Chelsea boots from Baffin are my utility boots. They’re an all around good boot that combines functionality and style.

They’re best when I need to trek around in the mud and rain with my dog. But still look stylish enough to grab lunch in. Plus they’re quick and easy to pull on and keep my feet dry and warm!

Well there you have it, the 5 everyday shoes and boots I’ve been wearing most and living in. I love all these shoes because they are first and foremost comfy, but also style with my fall and winter outfits!
