So without any more delay, here are my fave beauty products that have made the cut!

Givenchy Lipsticks
Givenchy is always innovating especially it come to their lipsticks which is why I’m such a fan of theirs. They’re always creating new lip products that have a unique take on them, whether it may be a personalize case like their Rouge G or unique formulas to satisfy any lipstick junkie. I’ve had a chance to try out 2 of them lately, the Givenchy Rouge Interdit Marbled Lipstick and the Givenchy Le Rouge Liquide.
The Givenchy Rouge Interdit Marbled Lipstick -$41 (top two with the ribbon in the photo above) are limited-edition marbled lipsticks where two of Givenchy’s bestselling shades melt together for a customized, vibrant, and satiny shade. They go on super smooth and lux, and have a marble like look to them that creates a solid color on your lips. Matte lipsticks have been so popular lately, so it’s refreshing to have a lipstick with a more traditional finish. The overall look is balanced, so not too shiny at all, just polished and flattering to give your lips a sensual look.
The Givenchy Le Rouge Liquide – $44 (in the black and silver just below) is all about the matte with a unique liquid lipstick encase in a twist up applicator and sponge tip. I happen to despise the typical lip wands for liquid lips, so this is the perfect applicator that allows your to apply the your liquid lippies with precision as well as getting just the right amount on your lips. The formula is amazing as well, with highily pigmented colour, comfortable to wear and not drying at all while being long lasting.
CND Vinylux Polishes – $12
When it comes to nails, I just need them to last and the CND Vinylux Polish do exactly that. I can’t handle painting them more than once a week and having them chip after a day or 2 just infuriates me. What makes them even better is application is a 2 step process: 2 coats of polish followed by their Vinylux Top Coat. I’ve been testing these out all summer, and on average, I get 7-10 days of wear out of them even when I’m active and using my hands, so I’d highly recommend them.
Dermablend 2-in-1 Power Setter – $36
I’m a huge fan of Dermablend makeup, it looks amazing on and it’s actually good for your skin. And the Dermablend 2-in-1 Power Setter takes your makeup game to a whole new level. It’s an oil-free, aloe-enriched, lightweight, makeup setting spray that sets foundation, blush and eyeshadow for all-day wear. There are days I’ve used it and received compliments at 6pm on my makeup after 9+ hours of wear, which has never happened before! It just keeps everything in place and looking good. You can also use it throughout the day to refresh your makeup for a just applied look and feel. It’s a must final step to any beauty routine regardless of what beauty products you’re using. It’s a little pricier than some of the other setters I’ve used, but it does come in a generous size bottle and definitely worth it.
Cargo Cosmetics Swimmables Longwear Brow Pencil – $20
For me brows are life. And the Swimmables Longwear Brow Pencil has been my new favorite. The slanted tip that helps me draw the perfect arch and it’s staying power is 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼. It lasts through my sweatiest workouts and I never have to worry about it sliding off my face. A great bonus feature is the brow brush that actually has a lid over it, so it’s not picking up lint in my make up bag.
Covergirl TruBlend Serving Sculpt Contour Palette – $13
I’m in love with Covergirl TruBlend Serving Sculpt Contour Palette. As part of their TruBlend line, they shades blend really well into my skin tone and I can see them being very wearable on a variety skin tones. The contour shade is just perfect, it’s matte texture creates a realistic shadow without any redness (something I struggle with on a lot of contours since I have quite a yellow undertone). They’re have a medium amount of pigmentation which makes them easy to manage and apply. Not to mention they’re very well priced at $13.

Yes, that price tag is right for that little blue stick, and yes it’s a splurge, but it’s worth it! The Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer is a full coverage concealer and does a magnificent job correcting the appearance of dark circles, spots, imperfections and uneven tone. And just a little goes a long way, so it doesn’t look cakey at all. It does miracles my under eye circles, and seems to almost reflect the light and make look fuller while still being matte. It looks super natural on, so you can’t even tell you’re wearing it. The queen of all concealers, hands down.
Omorovicza Complexion Perfector BB SPF 20 – $95
I’m a big fan of Omorovicza, and love their Acid Fix and Midnight Radiance Mask. And I have to say I’m a fan their Complexion Perfector BB as well. I’m all about products that do double duty and shave time off on my morning routine, and this BB cream just does that. It perfects my skin, provides SPF, and hydrates my skin all in one go. It provides light coverage, and on regular days I just need to apply a little powder over it and my skin looks good to go. I also love the it contains Vitamin C to brighten, illuminate and help correct skin-tone with use.
Quo Illuminating Drops $20
The Quo Illuminating Drops take your highlighting and strobing game to a new level. Plus its super easy to use, just drop or two on fingers and make a pass your cheek bones, nose and cupids bow and you’re good to go. They’re skin perfecting and help give you a flawless look, and you can even add it to your foundation or moisturizer for some added overall glow.
Armani Beauty Neo Nude Fusion Powder – $68
I’ve recently started trying out Armani Beauty products and I have not looked back since. The Neo Nude Fusion Powder is a skin perfecting finishing powder that does a magnificent job blurring out imperfections and providing a subtle and natural amount of highlight. I’ll often use it alone or with a BB cream because does such a good job at making my skin look good.
Armani Beauty Neo Nude A-Line Liquid Blush – $48
From the same line, the A-Line Liquid Blush is a beautiful sheer blush that gives your skin the perfect flush. It’s a water-based blush with a unique, velvet applicator that you can dab on and blend with your fingers. I love how natural it looks and how easy it is to blend. Plus how cute is the packaging?
Skincare Favourites
Fresh Black Tea Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence – $68
I haven’t started using facial essences until quite recently, and the Fresh Black Tea Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence made me a believer. I apply it after I wash and before I apply my skincare and it helps prepare my skin for everything else I put on top of it. This essence is packed with benefits like anti-pollution and antioxidant protection, increases luminosity, reduction fine lines & pores, improves elasticity, smooths texture, boosts healthy healthy tone, and 24-hour moisture. For me it really made a difference to my skin tone and texture. My skin just seemed happier and healthier when I used it, and when I stopped for a few days, it definitely looked more tired. So what can I say, I guess I’m hooked now.
Guerlain Abeille Royale Double R Serum – $254
Okay splurge product alert, but I’d say it’s really an investment. The Guerlain Abeille Royale Double R Serum is a gentle soft-peel treatment to effectively diminish the visible signs of aging. I’ve never tried anything like it, and if you’re worried about aging skin, it’s a must. After using it my skin for about a week, my skin had a new baby soft look and feel to it. It works by supporting skin’s natural renewal cycle and increasing cellular turnover, and includes Guerlain’s exclusive active ingredients, Royal Jelly and Black Bee Honey. My skin looked smoother, more radiant, and overall more refreshed without having to go through a peeling treatment or anything like that. And if you’re curious about about Guerlains Abeille Royal line, make sure you check out my post here.
Aveeno Positively Radiant Intensive Night Cream – $19
Okay now that you’ve broken the bank, the Aveeno Positively Radiant Intensive Night Cream is a product that is both wallet friendly and great for your skin. It’s hydrating night cream that helps with skin tone and overall skin texture. I love the consistency of the cream, it’s thick, but not heavy, and provides just the right amount of moisture. It has a smooth, buttery texture, which makes it feel luxurious and is a regular go-to for me.
[adinserter block=”2″]Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Honey Mask $42
I’m all about cleaning out my pores, but lately I’ve been finding a lot of products to overly irritating and over drying. The Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Honey Mask is a perfect balance of deep cleansing without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Formulated with bamboo charcoal, this purifying mask actively, draws out deep-dwelling pore-cloggers, impurities, and debris, while the honey helps nourish skin, leaving it feeling perfectly balanced and nurtured.

I’ve been a fan of the GlamGlow mud masks for awhile so I thought I’d give their moisturizer a try too, and I’m happy I did. GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer not only made my skin glow, but it’s smells amazing too! It gives just the right amount of glow without looking shiny and worked well under my makeup to improve my complexion and give me fresh glow to my skin. This was a recently purchase from when Shoppers Drug Mart launched their online store (which I’ve super excited about, and just a hint they throw in good little bonuses with every purchase).
The Better Skin Co. Amaze Balm – $36
I know winter is just around the corner and I’m going to be using The Better Skin Co. Amaze Balm every day. It’s the perfect moisturizer for dry, dehydrated skin. It has a silky-smooth texture that’s hydrating as well as creamy, with ingredients like oil of Coconut, Avocado, Sunflower and Shea to replenish any loss of moisture and keep it protected.

Rocky Mountain Soap Co.
I love this natural skincare brand for a long time and their soaps were actually the favours at my wedding! I’ve been really into Rocky Mountain Soap Co.’s body care lately and love both their Body Lotion and Omega 3 Hand Cream. Their Body Lotion ($11.50) is the perfect formula that’s hydrating without feeling greasy. It absorbs well and leaves my skin hydrated all day. And I find the Omega 3 Hand Cream ($11.50) so nourishing on my hands. I love the light vanilla coconut scent and it feels like a little dose of heaven every time I put it on.
Elizabeth Arden All Over Miracle Oil – $36
I’ve actually had this product for quite a while, but only fell in love with it recently. You can use the Elizabeth Arden All Over Miracle Oil on your face, hair, or skin and I particularly love it as a body moisturizer. Just spray it on and massage it in your skin for some luxurious deep hydration. It absorbs quickly and leave the skin hydrated all day long. And here’s a personal tip, I love using it on my legs before I go out, it gives your legs a healthy toned glow.
