As much as I love summer, fall is one of my favorite seasons for dressing. Summer is all about easy dressing, just throw on a pretty summer dress and sandals and you’re good to go. But in the cooler seasons, you have to be a lot more creative when it comes to putting an outfit together. Layering skills are put to the test, combining different pieces and textures, and the idea of all the possible combinations of stacking your favourite clothing pieces not only makes outfits more unique, but more fun to put together as well. Here are are few of my fall outfits from the past month.
Aritzia Cocoon Wool Coat (similar here) | Shein cream sweater
ALDO OTK suede boots (similar here) | Kate Spade bag
I loved this summer button up skirt so much and found it hard to put away when the weather got cooler. But being a denim-type material, I found that it still worked well the fall/winter season. I paired it with a white sweater, tights and some suede OTK boots to help keep me warm and finished it off with my fave grey cocoon jacket, which is a timeless wool coat that I love for it’s clean lines and simple design.
Shein teddy bear coat | Aritzia/Wilfred scalloped sweater (similar here)
Citizens of Humanity Olivia Jean | Nine West ankle boot
I finally gave in and finally got myself a teddy coat from Shein. I’m usually more for buying timeless pieces over trendy ones, but being pink, fuzzy and oh-so-soft, I gave in. Plus the $40 price tag on this made it pretty irresistible as will. I have to say it was a really great buy! It’s remarkably warm and cozy while being much lighter than any of my wool coats.

UNIQLO EZY pants | Shein button detail sweater | Aritzia belt | Shein sock boots
Here’s one of my the workwear looks I wore to the office this past month. When it comes to work pants, comfort is everything. Nothing is worse than pants that bunch up or wrinkle, or are itchy or uncomfortable to sit in. Believe it or not, these UNIQLO EZY dress pants are stretch pull-on zipperless dress pants, but look like real workwear pants. They’re made of stretch fabric with an elastic waist band, but you would never be able to tell by looking at them. I love them so much, I’m planning to get few more pairs next time go shopping.
Shein pink waterfall coat | Shein button detail sweater | Aritzia legging | Vince Camuto pointy toe flats (similar)
So you might have noticed really love this cream sweater, I’ve worned in 3 times in this post alone. It’s such a great layering piece, a bit little on the thicker side to keep me warm, but fitted so it makes a great layering piece under cardigan, coats and vests. Here I’ve paired it with these dark mauve leggings and pink waterfall coat. And added my fave pink bucket bag and some pointy toe flats to finish off the look.
Elly Pistol bomber jacket | AG jeans | Forever 21 turtleneck | Shein sock boots
This bomber jacket form Elly Pistol is everything! This bomber is made of a gorgeous quilted satin material with a contrasting purple interior and I love all the zipper detailing. Not only is it a fun piece, but it’s actually quite warm as well. I’ve paired it with a pair of high waisted skinny denim and black boots to let the jacket be the statement of the outfit.
Ann Taylor pink moto jacket |AG jeans | UNIQLO white blouse
This is one of my Friday casual work outfits. I’ve been loving this Ann Taylor moto jacket. It’s made of this thick twill material that blocks the wind well and it makes it a great layering piece. I love how it has structure and polished details which makes it wearable to office when dressed up, but also great piece for dressing down as well. I also style this same jacket in the workwear look here. But for this look I’ve paired it with my high waisted skinny jeans, and grey boots, and a classic white button up for a more casual look.
Aritzia navy blazer (similar) | Joe Fresh leggings | Aritzia lace blouse | Keds leather slip-ons | Kate Spade bag
Here’s another one of my Friday casual workwear outfits, which I could have easily worn on any other day by switching up the shoes as well. This navy blazer has been a staple for me. It’s professional enough to go to the office, but simple enough to dress down and have it look good as well. I love the longer length which allowed me to wear it with leggings.

November 26, 2018Love your outfit ideas! I WISH I could wear something other than a heavy coat during fall! It gets cold pretty early where I live (or at least to me, it’s cold)! I miss my flats and sneakers… it’s been boots for awhile already now! 🙂
