Lace and Florals

If you been following my a blog for awhile, you’ll know that my collection for floral dresses is only second to my skincare and makeup collection. And this pretty little lace and floral number is the latest addition to my closet. It’s definitely one of my dressier dresses with a vibrant floral calico print on blue lace with a high neckline and bell sleeves, which make it the perfect dress for a night out, party, or special event. I actually recently wore this it to the La Dolce Vita charity event at Square One the other week and got so many compliments.

This lace and floral dress is another one of my Shein finds and had some great details like the ruffles around the neckline, bell sleeves, and keyhole back detail that made it feel much more expensive than its $34 dollar price tag. I also love the sheer bits along the top and arms which was a nice touch that showed some skin without being revealing. I found the dress itself was quite comfortable to wear. The lace material was actually quite soft and stretchy, (and not scratchy at all, like how some lace fabrics can be) and fully lined as well with a soft material along the body.

For this look, I’ve paired my dress with some open toe shoes with some bold pearl details from Evernew, to make  things a little more playful. I think this dress would look great with some pumps or plainer shoes as well, but I thought it might be fun to add a little more embellishment and contrast to the floral print. For the event, I actually wore it with some ankle boots for practical reasons, since it was a much colder day, and that looked great as well.
