Big thanks to Shein for sponsoring this post!
I can’t seem to get enough of floral prints this season and with good reason. Whether they’re big and bold, or dainty and sweet, this classic motif is showing no signs of letting up. Just like summer, the floral print is playful and fun, and whenever I throw a pretty print on, I immediately feel my mood lighten and a spring in my step. I guess it’s no surprise when I picked out 2 summer outfits from Shein, they were both boasted pretty floral prints! Keep scrolling to see my both my summer floral outfits from Shein.com.
Outfit 1: Floral Co-ord Set with Halter Top and Shorts
My first floral outfit is 2 piece co-ord set with a cropped halter top and high waisted shorts. In addition to my fancy for florals this season, co-ord sets have also been on my fashion radar (see my recent post here on co-ord sets). I love that they come matched for you so you don’t have to fuss about matching tops and bottoms, but at the same time it’s great to have the option to mix and match and wear them as separate pieces as well.
This cute floral combo features a large floral print of light blue and red flowers. It’s super lightweight, making it perfect for those hot humid summer days, and being a co-ord set it also looks pulled together enough to wear out for a night as well. Here I’ve styled it with some comfy, cute block heels with an ankle strap from Nine West and my fave classic Prada doctor’s bag.
Outfit 2: Floral Maxi Dress
My second floral look is a navy maxi dress that brings out the my inner flower child. I’ve been loving the look of floral maxi’s with long sleeves as it gives it a more bohemian look to the dress, so I jumped at the chance at this one. This floral maxi actually has full length sleeves, but I’ve just rolled them up a little in the pictures since it was a hot day while shooting. The print on this one is a little more feminine and dainty which makes it the floral print more wearable being a full length outfit.
There’s just something about a maxi dress that feels so comfy, but looks so fancy as well. I always thought I’d be hot wearing a long dress in the summer, but it turns out that maxi dresses are remarkably comfortable in warm weather. I know I’ll be wearing this one all year long, the floral pattern brightens up the dress in the warmer seasons, while the dark blue make it wearable for the in the cooler seasons as well.

August 6, 2017I am loving the floral trend in clothing! I like the full length dress you featured in this post. It looks so feminine. My husband even encourages me to get a few floral print tops. He knows I don’t wear dresses that much so he is fine with tops. 🙂

August 2, 2017Those two outfits are totally different yet both so lovely. I think I would feel more comfortable in the long dress, but I truly love wearing anything floral because it makes me feel so feminine!

August 2, 2017Both of these are great looks. I love the floral prints for this time of the year. You can dress this up or down. I especially love the black dress.

August 2, 2017I really love the maxi dress, which makes sense because I usually gravitate toward the winter florals and the deeper colors. The shorts look great on you, too!

August 2, 2017I love the long maxi dress as that is something more appropriate to wear to my work. I do love the floral print of the separates, but I couldn’t pull them off.
