This year I’m extra excited about the holidays! With our new home, we have so much more room to decorate and entertain. We put up our tree and decor the first weekend in November this year and I plan on making the most of this season!

I’m sure this year will look much different from last. Family gatherings, work events, and holiday parties with friends are all back in order along with all the glitz and glam of the holiday season.

I know I’m tired of wearing sweatpant sets and I bet you are too! It’s ready to get dressed up for some of these holidays events! So today I’m sharing some of holiday outfit ideas along with some best places to get holiday dresses that range cheap steals to luxe splurges.

I love dressing for the holiday season. Everything just feels a little move fun and festive this time a year!

When it comes to dressing for holiday events, it’s all about adding that little extra something to any outfit. I find detail like lace, sparkle, faux leather, pearls can add to the fun and festivities of the season.

Here are some of my favourite holiday dresses and outfits that I’ve worn over the years to give you an idea of holiday outfits for your upcoming events this season.

Something Lacey

You can’t go wrong with something lacy! It’s timeless and elegant and there are so many ways to wear it.

A lace dress like the one above is a great holiday outfit idea for family dinner, while a lace top paired with leather pants and some fun accessories could make a great outfit for an evening out with friends

Whatever you choose though, my personal tip to wearing sparkly items is to stick to just one thing. Let it be the focal point of your outfit to keep the look classy!
