Today’s post is all about the midi skirt. It’s not exactly a new trend, but it’s one I’ve kind of stayed away from until quite recently because of my petite stature.
None the less it’s been a huge trend the last few seasons, and I finally decided to add one to my wardrobe and I have to say I’m smitten with this classic skirt.
At first look, the midi-skirt might seem like a challenging length, but actually it’s very flattering. Nipped-in waist and with a body-accentuating shape, the midi skirts hit your leg at the skinniest part of your ankle, giving you an extra visual boost in height while looking very flattering.
It epitomizes class and elegance and it’s actually extremely versatile with endless styling opportunities. It’s also a great option for the fall and winter when those micro minis and knee length dresses might not be so weather friendly.
OOTD: Pleated midi skirt and lace crop top with sock boots
Midi skirts are the classic lady-like addition to you closet and can be worn so many ways, casually with tuck your graphic tee into the waistline and some cool sneakers or dressed up with a sweater and some boots.
In today’s OOTD, I’ve paired my pleated midi skirt with a cropped lace top, both from Romwe. And then paired it with another one of my favourite trends this season, sock boots from Shein. It’s perfectly pretty and a perfect for a little dinner date night out.

December 4, 2017I love your pleated Mini skirt and plaid skirt very classic. You look so gorgeous. I like your guidelines on how to wear skirt because me myself I don’t wear skirt too much. Not that I don’t like it but I just don’t know what tops would be perfect for it. So I always ended up wearing jeans.
