5 Ways to Wear Leather Joggers

5 leather jogger outfits from casual to dressed up!

One of the biggest trends this season is leather. Whether is real or faux leather, it’s being championed by everyone from fashion heavyweights like Versace, Fendi and Ferragamo to our favourite high street fashion retailers like Zara, H&M and SHEIN.

Leather is having its day and I’ve seen leather pieces of all kinds lately, from faux leather leggings, and classic moto jackets to skirts, trench coats, jumpsuits and my personal favourite, leather joggers.

As it turns out, leather joggers are one of the most versatile leather pieces to own. They can be dress the down with sweaters or a tee for a relaxed vibe, dressed up heels elevates the look, loafers keep the look refined, and sneakers bring out that low-key sporty vibe.

With all the ways to wear leather joggers, I’m sharing 5 leather jogger outfits I’ve styled my own to get you inspired.

5 Leather Jogger Outfits to Wear Right Now

Leather Jogger Outfit #1 – Refined and Sophisticated

This first leather jogger lookg is a simple, but chic one. These faux leather joggers pants are from SHEIN. They have high waist and tie-waistline that cinches in your waist that makes them so flattering and easy to wear.

Here I’ve styled these faux leather joggers with a fuzzy cropped cardy, which has been one of my favorite pieces for fall. I love how this cozy knit contrasts the faux leather pants to soften up the look of the outfit.

To complete the outfit, I added some strappy pearl sandals to tie into the black and and white combo of this look. Then accessorized it with this croc style Gucci Dionysus dupe, which is another SHEIN find and I’d highly recommend!

Faux Leather Joggers Outfit #2 – Everyday Chic

This leather jogger outfit is more of an everyday one. It’s a look that’s perfect running errands, or a casual brunch or coffee date, where you want to be comfy, but still look stylish.

In this look, I’ve paired my leather pants with a simple cami and layered it with a leopard long cardy. If you think you’ve seen this leopard cardy before, you’re right! I recently also style it in post for 5 ways to wear white after labour day.

To complete the look, I’ve worn it with some cream mules to give it a laid back, but refined look. And accessorized it with my Louis Vuitton Nano Speedy, which I’ve recently pulled out of storage and has been on high circulation with the comeback of mini bags.

Leather Pants Outfit #3 – Casual and Relaxed

Joggers are naturally a casual style, so it’s only fitting that you can dress down faux leather jogger styles as well.

For this faux leather jogger outfit, I’ve casually paired my joggers with a pink cropped sweater and some sneakers for a sportier look.

I love this sweater because it has great details like the pearls and the twist across the front, that make it a little more special than your basic jumper.

And to complete this casual look, I’ve styled it with my Ked x Rifle Co sneakers and my pink vegan backpack from Piximood.

Leather Jogger Pants Outfit #4 – Dressed Up

Joggers in leather (or faux leather in my case) also have the versatility to be dressed up as well. This is great because they’re such an incredible comfortable style to wear for a night out.

For this dressier look, I’ve paired my leather pants with this puff sleeve lace bodysuit, which gives the outfit a slightly eighties throwback feel that I love.

To complement the lace, I’ve completed the outfit a pair of sheer polka-dot pumps. Then added this fun Zac Posen mini bag with pearls to keep the black and white theme going, along with some pearl hoop earrings to match it.

Faux Leather Jogger Outfit #5

This last leather jogger look builds upon the last one and makes it just a little bit more wearable if it’s a cooler day outside.

I’ve added this lavender-grey capelet that has some fabulous feather details on the collar. And also accessorized with wool floppy hat to complete the look.

One of the things that kind of stumped me at first was what shoes go with leather joggers, but I’ve found almost anything goes with them! My favourite are definitely strappy sandals and mules, but sneakers, pumps and even booties would look cute with them as well.

As far as tops go, almost anything would look good with leather pants. I particularly like ones ones that define your waistline to look a little more flattering and help to give you some shape rather an something oversized.
