Lise Watier PerfeXion Brunch

The only thing I love more than brunch is brunch with good company and beauty products! The other week I had the pleasure of attending a Lise Watier beauty event for their new PerfeXion Skincare Collection. Not only was the event so lovely and amazing, it was held at Colette Grand Cafe, one of my favorite brunch spots in the city. It’s a beautiful french bistro with cuisine, décor, and atmosphere that will make you think you’re in Paris!

Lise Watier is a Canadian beauty brand and this year they’re celebrating 45 years of beauty and innovation in skincare, makeup, and fragrance. I love supporting Canadian beauty brands and Lise Watier’s belief that great makeup begins with great skin care really resonates with me.  Their products are backed by advanced technology and active ingredients that changes the way we think of beauty.

The Lise Watier PerfeXion Skincare Collection

The PerfeXion Collection is anti-again line that targets 3 major skincare concerns: fine lines, radiance and pores. As we age, stress and fatigue can cause skin to lose its natural radiance and youthful appearance. This anti-aging line helps correct and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and enlarged pores to promote and renew your skin’s natural glow for more radiant, youthful and unified complexion.

What’s unique about the Lise Watier PerfeXion line is revolutionary technology of cosmetic drones. How it works is the cosmetic drones in the product will search for areas of need in your skin, and deliver the active ingredients where skin needs it most to correct the appearance of fine line, tighten pores and restore radiance. Brunch at Colette Grande Cafe

But before I tell you my thoughts on the the PerfeXion line,  let’s go back to the brunch for a minute! We started our beauty brunch with a little socializing over mimosas. It was great seeing some familiar faces, along with meeting some new blogger friends. Blogging can get lonely at times, so it’s always great to get together with fellow bloggers.

We were able to try out the products over our delicious brunch, and it was so fun to see everyone’s reactions and curiosity about the skincare line as we tested it out. The idea of cosmetic drones were so fascinating to us since it was the first we had heard of it. It was such a fun afternoon chatting about skincare, beauty, and blogging.

We had a lovely 3 course brunch and everything was just delicious, while also being absolutely beautiful! I had the pea croquettes to start (above), followed by the salmon and salad (below), and a platter of delectable desserts to share. It was an absolutely wonderful brunch with great company and good food!

My Thoughts on the Lise Watier PerfeXion Line

I’ve been using the Lise Watier PerfeXion Line for the past couple weeks so far and I have to say, I’m quite smitten by it. The PerfeXion Collection includes 4 products:

• Anti-Aging Day Cream Corrector
• Anti-Aging Night Cream Corrector
• Anti-Aging Eye Cream Corrector
• Anti-Aging Serum Corrector

I fell in love with the PerfeXion Day Cream almost right away! It was light, but moisturizing and left my skin with a natural and slightly dewy glow. It absorbed well and worked well under my makeup, even though after using it I felt like I almost didn’t need to use any skin makeup because it made my skin look so good on its own.

I liked the Night Cream just as much. I found it was a more hydrating and a little richer which will be great in the cooler months when my skin is on the drier side.  The Serum Corrector had a much lighter texture and paired well with the Night Cream, so once I had both on my skin I felt thoroughly moisturized, but not weighed down.

The Eye Cream Corrector also made me swoon with its lovely cooling tip, which I adore since I’m prone to puffy eyes in the morning. It felt so soothing and refreshing! I often find eye creams to be too heavy or cause my eye makeup to slip but not this one. It was moisturizing but absorbed well so it didn’t feel like there was excess product left sitting on top of my skin.

Being in my 30’s, maintaining my skin is definitely a concern for me and this line definitely pass the test. Overall, I felt like my skin looked more radiant and plump after using the PerfeXion line. And I also noticed that the texture of my skin look more refined and smooth.
