I’ve been loving the look of the long bob haircut. It’s just long enough to tie back, still a reasonable length to be manageable.
I ‘ve had long hair for probably the last 6 years. The last time I cut it short, I promised myself I would never, ever, ever cut it shorter than past my shoulders. But lately, lately I feel like a change in order.
Long bobs or “lobs” have been growing in popularity with an army of celebs sporting them.
There are a variety of styles from sexy tousle to a modern blunt bob. Here are some of my long bob hair inspirations.
5 Styles of Lobs
That I’m Loving Right Now
1. Undone and Messy Lobs
The lob haircut was made for Alexa. These tousled bed head tresses looks are epitome of effortless cool. With a length that goes that just touches the shoulders, this style will look good on anyone—even as it grows out.
2. Lobs with Highlights and Color Accents
This is similar to Alexa’s cut, but the highlights give the long bob cut more texture and depth.
3. Sleek and Smooth Long Bobs
Jessica Alba and Kate Beckinsdale sport a more sleek and elegant long bob with smooth strands and slightly off centered parts. This look would probably take a little more styling time with a round brush and blowdryer, bu I love the classic clean look of it.
4. Lobs with Soft Waves
Soft waves and a long bob make great pairing for dressier looks. Selena Gomez looks so grown up with her hair like this! And Olivia Palermo is looking chic as usual.
5. With Bangs and a Blunt Cut Long Bob
Bangs and a blunt bottom makes the long bob looks extra modern and chic. It’s a great cut that brings emphasis to the eyes.
6. Layered Bobs
Layers make the long bob haircut more fun and youthful. Jennifer Lawrence’s cut has a playful look, while Dianna Agron turns up the sex appeal with peek-a-boo bangs.
