Looking effortlessly put-together is easier than ever with one of my favorite new trends, one-and-done dressing. What’s one-and-done dressing you ask? Well it’s exactly what it sounds like, it when you put on a single piece outfit and voila, you’re done! No matching tops and bottoms, no three-piece office suit, just a single piece of clothing that gets you dressed from top to bottom and you’re out the door! And since I’m almost always running late, this is definitely a trend that I could get used to. Jumpsuits, dresses, rompers all fall into this category and I have to say I’ve been adding them to my closet quicker than I can wear them.

My latest addition to one-and-done dressing trend is this bubble trim jumpsuit from Ann Taylor. I’ve been quite obsessed with the brand with after collaborating with them for the #ATShoeGoals campaign earlier this year. Ann Taylor designs stylish, functional pieces with feminine cuts and beautiful details. Their goal is to create quality clothing with classic designs for of real women who live full, active lives, whether it’s for at work, home and play. And since then, I’ve been finding myself shopping there more and more, and this one of the current favourite pieces from the store.
This navy jumpsuit is a versatile little number that can be dressed up for the office or dressed down for weekend brunch. The bold wide leg of the pantsuit is sweetened with pretty fluttery sleeves and bubble trim lace along the hem to add a bit femininity. These strappy sandals are from Ann Taylor as well, and while chatting with the sales girl I discovered that Ann Taylor shoes are actually made in collaboration with Vince Camuto, who I’m already a huge fan of and have quite the collection of shoes from because not only do they look great, they’re known for being pretty darn comfortable too. And I can say the same about these Ann Taylor shoes as well.
[adinserter block=”2″]This round wicker bag is perfect summer accessory that instantly gives off a summer vacay feel with its beachy feel. We’re two, going on three, years deep into the basket bag trend that just won’t quit. From oversized beach totes and itty-bitty woven baskets starting things off, handbag designers everywhere have adopted straw, wicker, rattan, and even bamboo into their collections. This round rattan bag was a find from Amazon Handmade, and though I had to wait nearly a month to ship it since it came from overseas, it was well worth the wait. It instantly adds a summery feel to any outfit and I constantly get compliments on it. I found it to be really well made and lined with patterned fabric on the inside to give it a great boho touch.
I want to make a special mention about this charm necklace I’m wearing from Olive + Piper. It’s part of a purposeful collection of necklace charms created to inspire and empower girls around the world. When you purchase a charm necklace, Olive + Piper will donate 10% of the sales to Plan International’s Because I am a Girl movement to help empower girls in poverty. I know feel so blessed to live in a country where I don’t need to worry about food, health or education and where women are treated with dignity and respect. But not all girls around the world are so lucky, so it’s great that Olive + Piper is working to empower girls around the world and help to support the Because I Am A Girl movement to improve gender equality and promote girls’ basic human rights so that they, like us, can choose how to live their lives.

July 4, 2018Ok I love this! I don’t really like many jumpsuits b/c they have an elastic waist, but I love that this one doesn’t. The bottom of the pants is so cute, too!!
