Lately I can’t help but notice that pink items seem to keep finding their way into my closet and this light pink coat is my latest addition. Typically during the winter I stick to a wardrobe arsenal of neutrals and greys tones paired black and white, they’re safe and well-behaved and play well with pretty much any other color. But this winter, I’ve been feeling a little drab with all the dark colors and so I decided to lighten things up with a bit of pink! I’ve almost come to think pale, dusky pink as a neutral these days. It really goes with so much, and is the perfect color to make other hues pop, and add a bit of rosy warmth in the process.
Coat: Pink waterfall coat c/o Shein

Necklace: Long Layered Y necklace from the Latest Scoop (similar here)
Bag: Eartha mini bag from ZAC Zac Posen
The perfect pink coat that will make you smile. Wearing pink makes me feel sassy, confident and pretty! It’s funny how colors can have that effect on your mood. If you are anything like me, wearing heavy winter coats can be cumbersome, uncomfortable and leave you feeling like you can’t move. Don’t get me wrong, I am a believer in winter coats but I can’t stand the feeling of being bundled up and not being able to move. I love this coat because its fairly light and you have the option of wearing open with the waterfall collar or tied up like a trench.
