Sweater Weather Outfit Ideas: Cozy Knit Looks for Winter

Sweater weather season is here. I know if feels hard to put together a cute winter outfit when it’s so cold. So here are some of my favourite sweater outfits that I’ve been wearing lately.

Whether it’s sweater and jeans, knit sets, or sweater dresses, these are some cute and cozy outfit options for the winter. Plus I might mention knits and sweaters are very bump friendly!

Knit Loungewear Set

A knit lounge set is perfect for those casual days at home or running errands. Pair it with some Uggs and layer on a sweater for an extra cozy look

Classic Sweater and Jeans Outfit

A sweater and jeans combo is the quintessential winter outfit, always chic and timeless. Offering both comfort and style in one effortless look.

It’s the perfect blend of cozy and chic, and easy to layer with other items like blazers and coats.

And versatility of this classic pairing allows for endless customization with accessories, making it a staple winter outfit combination for your wardrobe.

Sweater Dress Outfit

There’s nothing like a sweater dress when you want a one and done winter outfit that looks pulled together and polished.

Right now I’m also loving the longer maxi lengths that have been so popular as well. The extra length adds to the cozy factor on those cold winter days!

Knit Dress Sets

You can wear them separately or together and the versatility of them makes them a great wardrobe staple to have.

Silk and satin skirts have been such a huge trend this summer, but just because the weather has changed doesn’t mean you have to put them away.

STYLING TIP:
When you’re wearing more delicate bottoms, it can look bulky to tuck in oversized sweaters. So instead, I’ll tuck them up under my bra or use a belt to style the sweater with a cropped look that can define the waist better.

Oversized Sweater Outfit

There’s something just so cozy about oversized sweaters. But being petite it’s I feel like it’s easy to lose my shape with oversized pieces.

STYLING TIP:
To prevent looking frumpy in oversized sweaters, an easy tip for how to style oversized sweaters is either tuck them in to create a waistline (like I’ve done here), or to wear them with fitting bottoms like pencil skirts, or leggings to help balance the shape.

Personally I love wearing white in the fall and winter. So I’ve paired this brown sweater with a pair of wide leg cropped pants.

Brown has been such a big colour this season and I love how wearing it with white just brightens it up the whole look.

Sweater & Trousers Outfit

Trousers and sweaters are the quintessential winter workwear duo, offering a polished yet comfortable look perfect for the office.
