A try-on haul and review of MOTF, SHEIN’s premium clothing collection.
You guys know I love shopping at SHEIN! Their affordable and stylish clothes are hard to beat! Well recently SHEIN introduced a premium line called MOTF. The line carries elevated clothing essentials made from higher quality materials and construction, but still at the reasonable prices we love about SHEIN.
The MOTF collection of clothing is more refined than their regular fast-fashion line. With effortless and chic blouses, pants, dresses and outerwear along with shoes and accessories. Also, the clothing is made from higher quality materials like silk, linen, and cotton, as well as some eco friendly fabrics.
The MOTF Premium Collection
I had an overall good first impression of the SHEIN’s premium MOTF collection. The clothes came individually wrapped and bagged. And the quality of the clothes felt good to the touch.
They were made from quality fabrics and the craftsmanship of the seams and sewing details looked neat from in the inside as well as the outside.
The clothes did come a little wrinkled from shipping, but with a quick steam, they looked much more expensive than what was on their price tags.
MOTF Outfit Review #1
When I saw this dress, I thought it would make the perfect little black dress. It’s plain enough to wear to the office, but also makes a great date night dress with details like the square neckline and split hem.
Though I usually don’t wear black too much, I thought this would make a great wardrobe staple that I could always go back to.
The MOTF dress was made from nice heavy fabric that’s comfortable to wear. I also found cut of the dress was also very flattering and slimming.
The only thing was it was a bit big on me. I typically get a small in SHEIN and thought the sizing would be the same, but XS would have probably fit better. But styled it with a belt to help give it some shape and overall it looks great.
MOTF Outfit Review #2
My second MOTF outfit is this knit turtleneck and black pants. I chose these 2 pieces as they make a good workwear outfit together. But also because they make great staples that I could wear interchangeably with other clothes.
The knit turtleneck was made of a recycled poly wool mix and oh so soft! It’s definitely a quality knit piece I know I’ll love and wear often. It is a thin knit, but a warm one which makes it great for layering in the fall and winter.
Black pants are a great wardrobe basic, but they can be so boring at times. I love how these pants have a slit in the front to make the a little more interesting!
Once again, the black pants were a little big on me. Only after reading more reviews, I realized I should have sized down. So if you’re shopping the MOTF line and in between sizes, you should pick the smaller one.
Overall though, the quality of MOTF collection was very good for the price. I love their more elevated and timeless designs along with the premium quality of fabrics and craftsmanship.
I’d say the quality of clothing is comparable to J.Crew or Ann Taylor, but still in that Zara price range which is great. SHEIN’s MOTF collection is a great option you’re looking for more quality pieces without having to spend a lot.
