Spring seems to be taking it’s sweet time to come, this past month there has been a fair mix of cooler and warmer days, which is somewhat typical for the weather here in Toronto. Needless to say my outfits from this past month have had reflect that as well. There are days that I wear wool coats and sweaters, and others where I wear skirts with bare legs. The flux in Spring weather really makes dressing appropriately a challenge, but the promise of warmer days always make it worth it! Here are a few of my OOTD’s from this Spring season!
This look above is easily one of my favourites! The long sleeves of this dress make it a great transition piece. I’m just in love with the rosy pink colour and the texture of the dotted texture that makes this dress so whimsical and fun. I’ve paired it with my Mackage leather jacket and a pair of pointed toe ankle boots, as a bit of a contrast to such a the feminine dress.

This shot which was actually taken on a visit back to my hometown in Vancouver. Though it was earlier in the season, they seem to always get a head start to Spring, and so I was thankful I caught some of the good weather on my visit back. Here I’m wearing one of my faves, this asymmetrical checkered skirt (also seem here), paired it with one of my staple white sweaters since it was still a little chilly, and for a pop of spring, added this pastel moto jacket from Ann Taylor. And as usual, my fave pointed toe booties are on repeat.

This look is something I would typically wear to the office. It’s simple enough, being a pair of slacks and a sweater, but I find the little details are what makes this from plain to chic. If you’re ever shopping for dress pants, Uniqlo makes these amazing 4-way stretch slacks that looks polished, but actually feel comfortable to wear. These pair of EZY ankle pants, and could you believe they’re a pull on elastic waist? Can’t even tell right!
I’m actually wearing the same sweater as in the previous look, (wasn’t lying when I said it was a staple!) and some high contrast kitty heels. This minimalist belt from Everlanes gives the look a small accent, and I’ve thrown a wool coat over my shoulders to polish off the look.

Also had some fun this past month, exploring HideSeek with my fellow blogger friend Zeba from EllaPrettyBlog.com. It’s a pop for a 90’s experience with over 12 fun rooms. Each room had a unique theme, and ranged across all your 90’s themes. There were tons of Instagrammable moments and above are a few shots from my favorite rooms.

This is a spring office look I recently wore. I’m loving this white wide leg cropped pants. They’re from Ann Taylor and the perfect Spring/Summer pant that works in the office or at the cottage. They’re super versatile, just depending how you style them and I find the culotte pant much more flattering than the white skinny jean. Here I’ve worn it with a pale pink blouse and a herringbone knit blazer (also from Ann Taylor), to keep the look, to keep the look meeting ready.

This is a more playful office look. This dress has that nice professional plaid print, but in a fun shape as this waist coat dress with an asymmetrical hem. This was a chillier day, so I wore I wore it with a white ribbed turtle neck and paired it with some Black OTK boots.

And sockless weather is finally here! This is a casual weekend look I wore to run some errands. It’s basically a jeans, t-shirt, sneakers look, and we all need some of those sometimes. I’m loving these Bloom Leather Cougar sneakers in this pinky-nude. They’re so comfy and a great way to add a little color.
Outfit Details:
Top: Crew Neck Tee from UNIQLO
Bottom: Stretch Skinny Jeans from Banana Republic
Outerwear: Wool Peacoat c/o Shein
Bag: Nude clutch c/o Evernew

And my last look is a Friday casual look. Wearing a white dress shirt, but had a little fun tying it up and pairing it with some high waisted black jeans. Wearing my cool coat and added a newsboy cap to finish off the look.
Outfit Details:
Top: No-Wrinkle Blouse from UNIQLO
Bottom: Rocket Jeans from Citizens of Humanity
Outerwear: Wool Coat from Mackage
Bag: Leather Tote Bag from Kate Spade
Shoes: Flat Pointed Ankle Boots from Ecco

May 21, 2019I won’t lie I’m split between the first and second to last outfit in terms of favorites, but they all look super great! Honestly all of this pink makes me so excited for my allergies to go away so that I can enjoy spring before summer arrives!

May 20, 2019So many favourites! I love how you pair white/grey and blush pink together. The mackage jacket is so pretty – as are your pink sneakers! And our pic is making me crave burgers again 😛
