5 Summer Trends to Transition Into Fall

While a part of me wants summer to last forever, and the other part can’t wait for fall fashion.

August and September and a bit of a in between time for the seasons where I always find it a bit if a struggle on what to wear.

Thankfully, there are a number of summer trends this year that will carry over fall. The trick is to find different ways to style for the season. It was be as adding a cozy sweater or trading in those sandals for a chic pair of boots.

I’ve round up a few of my favourites summer trends that I’ll be wearing into the fall this year!

1. Oversized Blazers

The oversize blazer trend isn’t going anywhere except into high rotation for your fall wardrobe.

I’m loving this neutral blazer from Revolve. So much so, I’m considering I getting it in black too!

It’s has the perfect oversize fit (so just get your regular size), but still has structure to it so it’s not looking too baggy. I’ve found that this camel colour perfect neutral that goes with everything!

2. Cut Out Tops

Cut out tops have been such a fun summer trend and I don’t see them going where soon!

As the weather cools down, layer them with your oversize blazer or a moto jacket for a seasonal switch.

3. Button Down Shirt

A classic piece, but trendy one of the moment is the button down shirt.

Perfect for layering, dressing up or down, the button down shirt is been one of the most versatile trends for summer, and on that can easily take you into fall as well.

If you’re looking for basics, go for the classic white. But for fall don’t be afraid to play with colours as well! I’m loving the rich jewel tones for the upcoming season!

4. Cardigans

Cute little cardigans have been keeping us warm on those summer nights, but I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of them as we move into fall.

They’re perfect for layering over tank tops and wearing them over dresses as the weather cools down.

5. Mini Skirts / Skorts

I’ve been loving the mini skirt/skort trend for summer! But don’t put your minis away yet. they also look cute with boots for fall too! Opt for tall boots are a great option as the temps start falling!
