My Most Used Designer Handbag: Vintage Louis Vuitton Croissant MM
My go-to bag is my vintage Louis Vuitton Croissant MM. It’s the perfect daily companion -a lightweight, spacious shoulder bag that matches my neutral wardrobe.
The croissant shape gives it a modern yet timeless design that also makes it quite a original design. Plus I find it fits a lot, holding all my essential with room to spare, without being bulky or cumbersome to carry.
AI also find the Louis Vuitton Croissant MM not fussy to carry and easy to sling over my shoulder. It’s also durable, and being a preloved piece, it makes it worry-free for everyday use. The versatility of this piece truly stands out checking off all the boxes for me which makes makes it a great day to day bag for me.
If you’re looking for a preloved/used designer bags here are my favourite trusted places to shop!
My Least Used Designer Bag: Chanel Mademoiselle Wallet on Chain
As much as I love my Chanel Mademoiselle Wallet on Chain with its beautiful quilted design, its compact size doesn’t suit my daily needs.
It’s my first Chanel bag, and while it’s special, I wish I’d invested in a larger bag. This one is ideal for short outings, with a handy crossbody strap but I’m considering a Chanel classic flap for more versatility.
This WOC, with its iconic double C’s and chic appearance, exudes elegance and sophistication and the original design is what I fell in love with. It’s the perfect companion for a minimalist night out, but its limited storage capacity I find I just don’t use it that much.
Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM in Damier Ebene: My Everyday Work Bag
The Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM in Damier Ebene may seem basic, but it’s a practical workhorse in my luxury handbag collection and my 2nd most used designer bag.
The MM size is perfect for office days and travel, comfortably fitting my essentials and laptop with room to spare. Though it’s not the most glamorous designer bag, but it is incredibly functional.
The Damier Ebene print gives it a touch of understated luxury, making it suitable for professional and casual settings. Its roomy interior and the ease of organizing your belongings are its major highlights.
This is a celebrity favourite as well, Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM in Damier Ebene has been spotted on the arms of stars like Reese Witherspoon, Sofia Vergara, Katie Holmes, Octavia Spencer and more!
Gracefull MM – My 2nd work bag for Spring & Summer
If you’re not for this classic tote style of the Neverfull, I’d also highly recommend the Graceful MM. A single strap tote style, but with a slight slouch to its silhouette which gives it a more elegant look. And I carries just as much Neverfull with a more style!
I have this bag in the Damier Azure canvas and love it as my spring and summer with it’s lighter print. However with the vachetta shoulder strap I do worry a little about rain and water stains during the fall and winter, which deter from using it during those seasons.
Louis Vuitton Bucket GM: A Vintage Beauty
My Louis Vuitton Bucket GM was intended as my daily work bag before I acquired the Neverfull and Graceful. And this is my 2nd least used bag in my collection.
This tote bag a gorgeous vintage piece that garners compliments every time I wear it. But its stunning vachetta straps and circular shape make it less practical for daily use.
The Louis Vuitton Bucket GM is a rare find with a unique shape and charming vachetta leather accents. It’s a piece I still love having in my luxury bag collection even if it’s not the most functional choice. And I use less for day to day and more shopping trips or day trips where I need a larger bag.

Saint Laurent Small Loulou Bag: A Versatile Favorite
The Saint Laurent Small Loulou bag is my 3rd most-used picks. Its soft matelassé leather and signature YSL logo make it a stylish yet practical accessory.
Being a dark beige neutral tone it goes with many of my outfits, without picking up show or dirt or wear. And I love the versatility of the adjustable straps take it from being a shoulder bag to a cross body bag.
This luxury bag is compact yet spacious and the built in compartments make finding my essentials easy and keep me organized.
It adapts well to my needs and has worn gracefully, despite minor corner wear. The Small Loulou bag is a testament to Saint Laurent’s attention to detail and quality.

Loewe Mini Gate Dual Leather Crossbody Bag: A Stylish Accessory
My Loewe Mini Gate Dual Mini bag is a beautifully designed accessory. I’m sad to say it’s my 3rd least used designer bag.
Its a beautiful cross body bag, with calfskin leather pouch and wide shoulder strap fit well with many outfits. While it’s undeniably stylish, but it’s also quite small, suitable only for events when I don’t need to carry much.
This Loewe Mini Gate Crossbody Bag is a fashion statement with its unique design and high-quality materials. It’s a versatile piece that can elevate any outfit, although its limited capacity just doesn’t suit my daily needs.
When investing in designer bags, I’ve found that utility, ease of use, durability, and how well they match my wardrobe are the most important factors for me. As I like my bags to be used and not to sit on display in my closet.
These considerations ensure that each bag I choose serves a purpose and stays relevant to my style. A designer bag should not only be a fashion statement but also a practical companion in your daily life.
Shopping for designer handbags is a journey, filled with hits and misses. And I think takes time to find the right bags that suit your lifestyle and personal style.
For the latest trends and the best (or worst) designer bag picks, keep an eye on my blog. Remember, a well-chosen designer bag is more than a fashion accessory; it’s an investment in your personal style.
