As much as I love the unique, one of a kind pieces in my closet, some garments are wardrobe essentials. They’re classic and timeless pieces that build the foundation to your outfits. They help you look great from day-to-day, being style staples that anchor your wardrobe to help you look good easily and effortlessly.
So today I’ve decided to share with you two of my newest wardrobe staples from Reitmans. The first piece are these medium wash classic straight leg jeans, which I know I can wear until the end of time and still look good through any decade. And the second is super soft long pink cardigan that’s a perfect layering piece for all season wear.
Look #1 – Casual Date Night Look
This first look is a great casual date night look. It’s clean and effortless, yet chic as well. I’ve taken my straight leg jeans and rolled the up to cuff the bottoms to show off a little ankle and paired them with a pair of classic nude pumps to dress them up a little. Underneath I’m wearing a ribbed cream sweater and taken the long pink cardigan draped my shoulders to give it a modern touch. I’ve kept my accessories pretty simple with a long minimalist necklace, along with a classic gold watch and a cream clutch to finish off the outfit. I love how simple this look is, yet how pulled together it looks.

Look #2 – Weekend Casual Look
This second look is more dressed down with little cozier and comfier feel. It’s something I’d wear on the weekend to go a fall farmer’s market or a casual brunch. I’ve paired my the straight leg jeans with some grey suede booties, then added a lace top for a little bit of texture and layered the long pink cardigan on top to keep me warm. I’ve skipped out on jewelry completely for this look, because I think the lace top is enough of an embellishment for this casual look. And just added my fave pink bucket bag which is a great carryall bag for any shopping I plan to do.

September 11, 2018I like both of these, especially since they will both look great without the cardigan for inside or warmer weather.
