My Current Faves for Glowy, Easy Makeup
Summer makeup hits different. I want skin that breathes, color that pops, and products that can handle the heat. Whether I’m heading out with Ella, shooting content, or just trying to feel human on 3 hours of sleep—I need formulas that do something but still feel light.
Here’s a peek inside my current summer makeup bag—what I’m actually reaching for right now.
1. ILIA Skin Rewind Blurring Foundation Stick

Natural finish, buildable coverage, and effortless to apply.
The ILIA Skin Rewind Blurring Foundation Stick isn’t your typical foundation stick. It glides on like butter, blends in seconds, and leaves a soft-focus, blurred finish that still looks like skin. I use it straight from the stick, blend with fingers or a brush, and I’m good to go. Also love that it doubles as a concealer.
🧽 Great for touch-ups or quick mornings when I want my skin to look even but not heavy.
2. Glow Recipe Glow Glass Balm in Watermelon Bingsoo

Hydrating, glossy, and smells like watermelon candy.
The Glow Recipe Glow Glass Balm in Watermelon Bingsoo is my go-to lip for summer when I want something hydrating but still glossy. Not sticky, just juicy. Also has a tiny cooling feel that’s perfect for hot days.
3. CoverGirl Trublend Skin Enhancer Stick (Blush)

Cream blush that actually lasts in the heat.
The CoverGirl Trublend Skin Enhancer Stick surprised me—in a good way. It blends so easily and gives that sunkissed flush without sliding around. I like tapping it on with fingers for the most natural finish. Shade: Hot Frenzy.
4. MERIT Shade Slick Lip Oil + Signature Lip Sheer Lip Liner

The polished lip trio I keep reaching for.
The Merit Shade Slick Lip Oil gives a glossy, moisturizing finish without any stickiness. Paired with their Lip Liner, it creates the perfect soft-sculpted lip that still looks natural.
💄 I wear them individually or layer all three for a full look. Feels luxe, never overdone.
5. Rhode Lip Shade Spin

The everyday nude lip liner I didn’t know I needed.
The Rhode Lip Shade Spin Liner’s creamy, blendable, and stays on even through iced coffees. I pair it with gloss or lip balm when I don’t want a full lipstick look.
6. Jo Malone Mini Cologne – Mimosa & Cardamom

Soft, warm, and a little unexpected.
The Jo Malone’s Mimosa & Cardamom is perfect for summer evenings—it’s light but still has a creamy depth to it. Plus, the mini size fits perfectly in my bag.
7. Winky Lux Cheeky Rose Liquid Highlighter

This one’s just fun.
Cute packaging aside, the Winky Lux Cheeky Rose Liquid Highlighter gives such a pretty glow. I swipe it on as blush and eyeshadow. Looks like a pink highlighter on the skin.
8. Shiseido Clear Sunscreen Stick SPF 50+

Reapply-friendly SPF that won’t mess up your makeup.
The Shiseido Clear Sunscreen Stick SPF 50+ has been in my bag for years. I love that it’s invisible, weightless, and actually feels nice to put on. A non-negotiable for summer days out.
9. Ultra Violette Lip Balm SPF 50

Yes, you need SPF on your lips too.
The Ultra Violette Lip Balm SPF 50 is a hybrid lip balm and sunscreen with real color payoff. I have the shade Choc Top—hydrating, tinted, and protects without that sunscreen taste.
10. NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Powder

Sets everything without looking dry.
I only powder my t-zone, and the NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Powder gives me just enough blur without killing the glow. A must if you want your makeup to survive humidity.
Summer beauty faves that are worth it..
This summer make up bag edit is what’s actually working for me this summer: easy textures, a little glow, SPF everywhere, and multitasking staples I can swipe on in under 10 minutes. Most days I don’t wear a full face—but these products make me feel pulled together, even if I’m rushing out the door.
Let me know if you want a video tutorial or links to any of these! And if you’ve tried any of these faves, slide into my DMs—I love hearing your thoughts.
