Best Liquid Blush: Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint Review

As someone who swears by Armani’s iconic Luminous Silk Foundation (I always make sure to stock up during the Sephora sale!), I was excited to get my hands on the new Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint!

Both liquid blushes and cream blushes have been my recent obsession (recent blush haul & swatch here), and this one definitely lives up to the hype!

Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint is a liquid blush designed to give you a long-lasting flush with a barely-there feel. It’s buildable and pigmented make it perfect for day to night!

At $39 USD/$56 CAD, it’s certainly on the pricier side, but if you’re familiar with Armani Beauty’s reputation for luxury beauty, the price point isn’t surprising.

This pigmented cheek tint formula is offered in a color range of six gorgeous shades, from soft Rosy Peach to bold Flaming Red, catering to a range of skin tones.

My personal favourite shade for fall is 62 Delicate Mauve, a dusty rose color with a deeper tone that works so well with the fall color trends of burgundy and brown.

I appreciate how pigmented these liquid cheek tint are, which means you can layer them for more vibrancy without feeling heavy, and adjust the intensity for going from a sheer day look to bold night look.

Plus I love how it still allows your natural skin texture to show through, giving this easy to blend blush a natural complexion that doesn’t look over done.

Application & Wear

Here’s the thing: a little goes a long way. I’d recommend starting with a light hand since this cheek tint is incredibly pigmented, as you might have noticed in the video above.

The doe-foot applicator makes it super easy to dot on the cheeks, and from there, I prefer using a brush to blend it out for even application, but your fingers will do a great job too if you’re in a bind.

TIP: If you apply too much, a foundation sponge, like the beauty blender is a great makeup tool to help you blend for softer, diffused look.

The finish of the blush is natural looking flush, with a heathly skin look, not to glowy or matte, but the perfect in between.

As for wear, the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint has an incredibly longwearing forumla. Lasting all day, not like other liquid blushes which seem to vanish after just a couple hours of wear.

In the summer it stayed put on the sweaty humid days, but as the temperatures have dropped, I found it still looked great when on my dry skin as well.

My Verdict

This cheek tint is incredibly versatile. I love how it adds a natural glow without looking too “made up.” I’ve also used it on my lips on eyelids when I’m in a rush for a complete all over look!

I also find this liquid blush extremely long wearing, lasting all day. And the formula plays well with other products – no streaking or pilling, even layered over my foundation.

The Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint definitely earned a spot for best liquid blush in my makeup routine for those everyday “no makeup-makeup” looks.

Tips for Application

• Use a light hand: Since the pigment is strong, start small and build up.

• Blend thoroughly: Avoid harsh lines by blending well with a brush or beauty blender.

• Don’t overdo it: Too much product can lead to streakiness, so take your time.

Final Thoughts

Is it worth the $39 price tag? For me, yes. It’s one of the best liquid blushes our right now that gives a radiant, natural glow with long-lasting wear.

Its weightless creamy formula and buildable pigmentation make it a standout blush for everyday use. Making the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint is a solid investment for beauty lovers.
